Croatia Boat Show 2009

Croatia Boat Show is the 11th International Boat Show held in Split, 28th of March – 5th of April 2009. It is an ideal opportunity for all visitors, especially those who love ships and the sea, sailing and pleasure that it gives, to gather in the beautiful surroundings of the Split city port.



140,000 square meters of the coast and sea took the fleet of the most beautiful boats. Exhibition space in the tents and on the ferry has become the largest nautical department store in the region, where were introduced products and services of different companies, from equipment, parts for boats, clothing and footwear, to the ships ... Therefore, as the sponsors and suppliers fair highlight certain financial institutions, insurance and car houses, travel agencies, hotel companies and businesses that generate a special interest in achieving specific commercial benefits before, during and after the fair.

Even a small disaster such as the strong wind and rain, failed to reduce the impression and couldn’t disappoint visitors. It was very interesting to participate this fair, hostess and absolutely all of the employees were working as they should. According to my knowledge, in the best possible way they presented vessels of all sizes to potential customers with the special privilege of departure to test navigation.



The largest part of the exhibited boats were represented in the sea - in their natural surroundings. In my opinion, the stars of the fair were: Sunseeker YACHT 30-M as one of the most attractive and most expensive ships fair, Sunseeker Predator 92- which is very interesting because of it’s color, ZEN-one of the fastest boats in the fair and the series of sailing boats Bavaria. I have to point out a sailing ship by the name TIRENA, which was absolutely beautiful and one of the ships which had been the most interesting to general public because everybody could come, look around, sit, order a drink and enjoy the sweet sound of Dalmatian music.

In the form of entertainment, in the sign of luxury, exclusivity and prestige can be extracted one of the events, which is the party that was organized on 3rd of April in the Hemingway bar in Split. Party was a remarkable combination of house music, and trumpeter, which lasted until early morning hours, of course, attended in large numbers.

Croatia Boat Show is a very important fair because it provides many business opportunities. Business contacts made during the nine days of the fair are the most effective way of mutual linking of business people. Besides the mutual linking of exhibitors, it is also important the contact with customers - end users of items and services offered at the fair.
